About Us
A Parent’s Protection was created by a family living through the realities of the child welfare and family court systems. Like many others, we entered the process believing that cooperation and honesty would be enough—only to discover how confusing, overwhelming, and difficult these systems can be for families to navigate.
Our experience is the reason this site exists.
We are not attorneys, and this platform is not a law firm or legal service. Nothing on this website is legal advice, nor is it intended to replace, discourage, or interfere with advice from a qualified attorney. The purpose of this site is education, awareness, and access to information—not legal representation or case strategy.
One of the biggest challenges families face is simply finding reliable, state-specific information. Laws, procedures, and resources vary widely by state, and there has been no single place to easily locate and compare this information. Searching for help can be tedious, confusing, and especially difficult for parents already under stress or in crisis.
A Parent’s Protection was built to change that.
This site is designed to make it easier to find general information, resources, and guidance based on your state, all in one place. By compiling and organizing this information, we aim to reduce barriers, increase awareness, and help families better understand their rights and options—so they can seek appropriate professional help informed, prepared, and empowered.
At its core, this site exists to support families, raise awareness, and help parents realize they are not alone.
